all this information and confusion here in Canada about the H1N1 vaccine has become a big confusing frustrating circus for most of us. I personally am not going to get the "shot", I think the whole thing is being blown waaaay out of proportion and is more a new ratings spectacle than anything. There are so many conflicting stories and information about the vaccines and the virus....and then there is THIS!!!

maybe people should think twice about getting the shot! The gay bars are crowded enough on a Saturday night....

Finally after months of drooling over shritless photos of my BF Jake, the world can now see what all the fuss is about and it looks like the wait was well worth it!
Prince of Persia looks like its a shoe in to be an exciting summer blockbuster!! And well, with all that shirtless and perfect hairy&buffed chested Jake eye candy i would go see a 2 hour movie of this man painting a fence. He pulls off the accent really well too. I've played the video game on my Xbox and its pretty cool to see the concept made into a movie...now I'm hoping they make a game version of this movie with Jake in it so that i can have that man under my control! That would be faaaantabulous!

If you remember many MANY posts back a while ago, the pictures of me and Jake on his movie set were plastered all over the tabloids...just for your entertainment I'll repost the pic...

its come to my attention that a certain blog is celebrating it's 1st birthday or blogiversary?!! How special to share it with Sesame Street!! Michael Rivers: The Blog celebrates its one year today! Congrats on the year long run so far, with many more to come!! its Sesame Street's 40th Birthday!! wahoooo, i still watch lots of the Street, my 1 1/2 old niece is obsessed with Elmo, she has a bunch of his DVDs and loves to watch Sesame Street when she comes over in the morning, so we sit and watch it together....i think I've heard the theme song from Elmo's World at least 300 times already....MAKE IT STOP!! lol!



I think most people have watched at least a few dozen episodes of Sesame Street, its probably the only show around that you can say that some parents have watched when they were kids and now their kids are watching it. Sesame Street is on in all parts of the world! Did you know there is even an HIV positive muppet on the Sesame Street in the South African version, Takalani Sesame show, Kami

My faghag Jen and i went on a road trip the other day. To a little city a couple hours from me called Brandon. Its a fun drive cause we got to drive through and over the mountains to get to the other side. I was hoping to see some cute animals on the way, and sure enough we saw heaps! There were some moose, deer and even a coyote! Seeing moose is always exciting cause they are SO massive! i think they're cute :)


So we got some Christmas shopping done, I'm trying to get it all done by December because i DO NOT want to be running around in the malls when it gets all bananas!!
Speaking of bananas...i also bought myself a new toque for the soon to come winter! If you knew me you'd know that i'm a bit crazy so what better way to show it off than with my new sock monkey toque lol.


Jen said i looked like a escaped crazy mental patient which is just the look i was hoping for! Yes i know it's weird but that doesn't matter to me. I'm special....and i do have other toques, I'll wear this one when I'm in a bad mood, how could i stay grumpy wearing a sock monkey on my head!!

mmmmmm one of Canada's best inventions!! nothin like a nice big Caesar to end the day!!

I managed to get a few people off my list done so just for that it was a successful trip! wahoooo! Wasn't that all exciting to read! I bet you were just giddy with excitement reading this....and now for something totally unrelated...

It was such a beautiful day today! The sun was out shining and warming us up here today! Sooooo awesome! it must have been +15C today!! I didn't even need a jacket and managed to get some sun. I made the easy effort of taking in as much of this beautiful day as i could because i knew it was a treat and soon a forgotten thing with winter just round the corner!




Fall time is such a expressive season. There are bright and bold colours everywhere! Deep reds bleed over the once green leaves, leaves bright yellow like sunshine and orange leaves blowing in the wind, make dying look beautiful with such nice colours surrounding me. Its like the tree's one last "hurrah" before slipping into winter's coma...
